Selected Numerical Score:
Assess Digital Learning Instruction 5315 - 93/100
Resources Digital Environments 5317 – 95/100
In class EDLD 5315, Assess to Digital Learning Instruction, I had the opportunity of learning how action research can be applied to measuring instructional methods and innovative approaches in instructional design. My plan is to articulate the research topic or problem, with related questions through an action research plan. In EDLD 5317, Resources Digital Environments, I learned the importance of educators assessing digital resources and sharing those findings through broader learning communities such as creating a publication article. These classes had significant challenges, writing a publication article and creating an action research plan in eight weeks was exhausting. However, somehow, I’ve made it once again.
Crediting Group Members: Melissa Strout and Eddricka King
For this semester, I decided to branch out and work with other students and came across two talented young ladies. Melissa, who is a graduate admissions advisor at Lamar University, collaborated with me on several assignments in EDLD 5317. Since we both work in similar backgrounds our connection came easily. She is bright, organized, and very entertaining. She gave me a lot of laughs which is what I desperately needed this semester. Eddricka reached out to me in a GroupMe message that she created for the EDLD 5315 class. She is very well- organized and creative. Once a week, we met via zoom and had group meetings to go over weekly readings and assignments. Our daily meetings consist of a host of GroupMe messages, just in case anything was missed in class. Both of my group members are wanting to implement E portfolios into their organization through the blended learning concept. I feel as though they both have strong arguments and are headed in the right direction. We got off to a rocky start, but we managed to work together collectively, and the end result flourished in our work.

Every semester, I strive to do better than the last. I’ve come across so many amazing and talented people from several different organizations. I’ve learned so much in the ADL program, from the detailed discussion post, the weekly zoom meetings, and the phrase “ It takes a village.” is what constantly comes to mind. One of the most important things I’ve learned is that in order to be successful you must work together.
