Informational and Influential COLLAPSE
In the video “The Power of Words”, explains how the use of words can be different but have the same meaning. The video shows a blind man asking for help. People are walking by him and not responding to his sign because it has little no emotion in it. When the lady changes the sign to “It’s a beautiful day and I can’t see it” more people respond to the video because they are able empathize with the man. They can put themselves in the homeless man shoes and feel sorry for him. The use of those words is powerful, and heart driven. This video influences my video creation because it inspires me to think. My message that I am trying to convey does not just need to be informative but needs to motivate people as well. The video needs to lead people to wanting to learn more and empathizing with the situation. In the Behavioral Science video, I learn that my audience does not just need information. Although, I have a lot of information and I want my students to know everything. I also want to motivate my students to make real life changes that will benefit them in the future. I plan too not only be informational but inspirational as well. I want them to understand what a loan, interest rate, and repayment options is. I want to prove to them that being financial literate is important and plays a huge factor in real life opportunities. I will be targeting my audience’s head and heart. I want them to be knowledgeable about financial literacy but be willing to make sacrifices and changes as well.
